Matt Hendon
Matt Hendon grew up in Moorpark, California. He attended Art Center College of Design in Pasadena where he received a BFA in Illustration in December 2007. Shortly after graduation be moved to Long Beach and began working as a freelance editorial illustrator. He’s been doing anything from wine and antipasto labels to editorial spot illustrations to small gallery work to some clothing company work. Some clients include Lucky Strike Bowling Alley, Rapt Clothing, Maria’s Antipasto: Tuscan Style Tapenade. His work is very pen and ink line based drawing with flat colored shapes combined with various collaged paper, surfaces and patterns. In 2009 two pieces of his work were chosen for the American Illustration Tribute Gallery and he is continually working.
